Talking Tough: ASHA workers question the inadequacy of the mSehat app

In October 2015, the Uttar Pradesh government launched the mSehat app to record maternal and infant health data in real time. Equipped with new smartphones, ASHA health workers are meant to document data with the click of a button. With no electricity or training, ASHA workers struggle to make sense of this app.
