This week the Tech Report focuses on the effects of the National Security Agency leaks on our Internet companies and the American public. Last week, The Guardian and The Washington Post revealed that the NSA has a program called PRISM, which allows the NSA to access metadata from some of the biggest online companies in the world. Think Google, Apple, Facebook, Microsoft, Yahoo, YouTube and AOL -- so that means this agency can get private communications like email, searches, chat logs and private messages sometimes in real time. The PRISM program is justified under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, and is designed to monitor foreigners. However, many American citizens ultimately fall under its watchful eyes. Hemanshu Nigam, the SSP Blue Founder joins us to discuss on how can we keep our data and information private.
