Thailand's cab and tuktuk drivers said passenger traffic has dropped by 80% because of the novel coronavirus outbreak. The first person in Thailand to test positive for human-to-human transmission of the virus was a taxi driver, who has since been cured and discharged from hospital. However, those in the public transportation industry are more concerned about the prolonged effect on their livelihoods, than on contracting the virus.
