The Bad is a post punk rock band of three musicians: Julia Jones, Eric Noorman and Zed D.
While Julia Jones and Eric Noorman rock the show, Zed D. never appears live on stage, but is usually seen as a projection on a screen.
The Bad hates being limited by any style, convention or conservatism. That reflects in their songs which are a wild mix of punk rock, alternative rock, noise rock, grunge, goth, metal and stoner. Each song is unique and has is own vibe. So be warned, this is a take it or leave it concept and is only suitable for the open minded..
The second album of The Bad called “Diamond Age” contains the booming anti climate change anthem “Fire of Change”, which was sung live at the 35,000 people Climate March in Zürich and at the revolutionary Greenpeace demonstration at the airport Schiphol 14.12.2019 in Amsterdam. This is in line with the political involvement of the band members who refuse to use fossil fuel cars and planes for their tours and use a black electric car instead, christened “Badmobile”.
The open air release concert of the album “Diamond Age” took place the 21st of September at a Swiss mountain hut called Boval Hütte at an altitude of 2,500 meters.
Time abound:
Days are endless
Overwhelming
More than what I care
Days are weary
Overbearing
Time is my nightmare
Weeks are blurry
Endless worry
There’s so much to do
Months come searing
So uncaring
We are out of tune
And the world comes turning round
And the world comes crashing down
And the world comes turning round
And the world comes crashing…
Years rush forward
We run onward
Trying to keep up
Decades blurring
Gears are churning
We have reached our tap
And the world comes turning round
And the world comes crashing down
And the world comes turning round
And the world comes crashing…
