Here is another project that starts out with a simple plan! This is part one of The Bell Rung 300 series. I share the first contact note from my customer! Hello, I have a church bell that I am restoring for a church in Sharon, Ct. I have the steeple that the bell sits under here at the shop in Falmouth along with the bell. The yoke pintle pins have wallowed out the A frame sockets. What I've done in the past is have a machine shop install bushings into the A frame and machine the pintle pins to fit. We would need a grease nipple tapped into each A frame. I've attached photos below for your reference. I can deliver the yoke and A frames if you are interested in taking on the project. I'm looking at about a 4-6 week lead time before the steeple will need to be shipped back to CT.
