Played nowhere else on Earth, it is a rare game: Canadian football. Canada's game - but for hockey, likely curling, and maybe lacrosse. Twelve three-down warriors of a similar stripe, warned and sometimes weary of the unique rules that keeps players and fans alike on their toes. For more than 100 years the Canadian Football League has given fans from coast-to-coast-to-coast a needed diversion from winter, although more than a few Grey Games have been a testament to overcoming winter.
