Welcome to Cinema Spotlight! This is where I take an actor or director and review their films down the line until their recent film! Movies only though! Here i chose Steven Spielberg and continuing my reviews down his filmography we have come to The Color Purple! Plot This is a coming of age story where Celie is exposed to various uncompromising elements such as sexism, incest, domestic violence, racism and opression. When Celie is seperated from her sister, who she was insperable to, we watch her journey over the course of years as a meek adult turn into a stronger women with the people around her. Why This New Series? All my life I have loved movies. Always wanted to either be in them, direct them and as of the last 10+ years always wanted to review them. This series is a hope that I can continue to review films, watch the ones everyone has been hoping I see, see the ones i've always been curious about and share my experience with you!
