Kik Messenger is a fun instant messenger application for smartphones. You can easily send a quick message to another Kik user and Kik will tell you when the message is sent, delivered, and even read. You can also send photos and videos through Kik. When you create an account through Kik, you don't have to use your real name. Sounds cool, huh? Wrong! The danger with this is that criminals can pretend to be anyone they want to be. The police have a hard time finding users through this app. It is scary. The intent behind Kik was a faster alternative to text messaging and a program that worked with iPod's, iPad's, and phones altogether.
