The Fladen Eye Center: Complex Cataract Surgery, Malyugin Ring & Multifocal IOL

The case performed by Dr. Todd Fladen, Medical Director of The Fladen Eye Center in Canton, Ohio demonstrates his technique for delivery of an Alcon SN6AD1 Multifocal IOL (intraocular lens) in a presbyopic patient with history of Juvenile Diabetes and extensive pan retinal photocoagulation. The pupil is scarred with posterior synechiae which are adherent to now opaque and cataractous natural lens. Vision Blue Dye and Malyugin Ring facilitate this procedure.
