The Gentrification Project- Griffintown

The Gentrification Project examines Griffintown, an historic community along the Lachine Canal, next door to Old Montreal. Business and property owner, Harvey Lev, thinks the city and developers in Griffintown have no plan to develop the area responsibly. Lev says the high-rises are only being built to serve young, urban, professionals, because of Griffintown's proximity to downtown. He, and a small group of residents, have taken it upon themselves to inform Montrealers as to Griffintown's unique cultural heritage.
