Welcome everyone to The Last Guardian, the latest game by developer Team Ico, the minds behind Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. The Last Guardian follows the story of a young boy who wakes up in a cave high up the mountains, alongside a large gryphon / griffin type creature in chains and riddle with spears. This creature is named Trico. Together, the two form a mutual understanding and bond, gradually relying on each other more and more to escape the valley and the dark evil it houses. In Part 6, the Boy and Trico come across what looks like a giant, electrified bird cage. A strange device emits a signal that turns Trico hostile, causing him to attack and swallow the boy. Thankfully he passes out and the boy wakes up alive and well. While exploring the temple, the Boy encounters a bunch of Armored Knights or Stone Soldiers, that seem to be possessed by an evil force. These knights chase the boy back to Trico, who wakes up just in time to save the day.
