The Media Jihad of ISIS (Propaganda)

This review examines the extensive use of western digital media by ISIS and the ironic schizophrenia inherent in the group's commitment to using such tools to destroy all vestiges of western civilization. Tragically, the totalitarian ideology that animates ISIS will continue to spread through such media until humanity raises its collective voice to discredit terrorism as thoroughly as fascism and communism in an earlier era. In a sense, this means that we are all on the front lines in a war of ideas that has no traditional boundaries in the Digital Age. This original movie review was created by students at academic institutions affiliated with the Human Rights Network (HRN).
