The museum "Sapun Mountain Assault" in Sevastopol / Мемориальный комплекс «Сапун-гора»

EN: The Sapun mountain was a scene of heavy fighting during the Siege of Sevastopol (1941-1942) and the liberation battle of Sevastopol in May 1944. I visited the museum on 20 May 2019, and the diorama inside the museum that gives a good insight in the 9 hours battle for this mountain on 7 May 1944 was closed for tourists on that day. Therefore I had to contest myself with many open-air Russian and captured German weaponry in the surrounding of the diorama. The melodies in the background were arguably the most popular (among regular soldiers) songs of that bloody time. I hope you enjoy my clip! Я посетил музей 20-го мая 2019г., и диорама внутри музея, дающая художественное представление о 9-часовом бое 7-го мая 1944, была в этот день закрыта для посетителей. Поэтому я довольствовался находящимися вокруг диорамы под открытым небом образцами тяжелого вооружения Красной Армии и Вермахта.
