The New Face of VOYA - KATIE MCANENA

Katie McAnena is an All-Ireland Ladies Wind Surfing Champion, a Doctor and all-round beautiful person inside and out. We're delighted to have Katie as the New Face of VOYA as we feel she is the perfect role model for all young women. Katie McAnena has achieved a huge amount in her 27 years. In between winning competitions on the international professional windsurfing circuit, she has also managed to complete her medical studies and now works as an orthopaedic surgeon in Galway. The Galwegian emanates health, energy and clearly has enough drive and enthusiasm to achieve anything she sets her mind to including the simultaneous pursuit of professional windsurfing and her medical career. Her positivity shines through whether she's talking about windsurfing, medicine, her beloved Irish coastline and her new association with VOYA, the organic beauty seaweed range. 'I was exposed to the sea from before I could even walk. My mother is from West Clare and she's an avid swimmer. My Granny taught me to swim in the Atlantic when I was three, so the sea has always been a huge part of my life.'
