Finally the pinball table I have been waiting for since FarSight Studio started remaking classic pinball has been released for the PS3. Don't laugh at my rusty skills on this first play-thru. It's been over 15 years since I had my hands on the real machine. After the first couple of balls I started to get a feel for it again. I nearly cleared the table's standard goals on my first play. Just needed a Magna-Save to complete the first five. Did get it with my following game and completed most of the wizard goals soon after. Note: Currently "The King's Ransom" resets any time you leave this table. So you have to play multiple games in a row to build it up. A save for it would be welcome FarSight Studio. Black Knight 2000 (PS3) Standard Goals: Goal 1 - Save a ball with Magna-Save Goal 2 - Collect a Lightning Wheel Award Goal 3 - Score a Hurry-Up Goal 4 - Score a Ramp Loop Combo Goal 5 - Earn an Extra Ball Black Knight 2000 (PS3) Wizard Goals: Goal 1 - Score a 100K Skyway Loop Goal 2 - Score a Skyway Bonus Goal 3 - Score a Jackpot Goal 4 - Score a Double Knights Challenge Million Goal 5 - Activate The King's Ransom Table details from The Internet Pinball Database: Manufacturer: Williams Electronics Games, Incorporated, a subsidiary of WMS Ind., Incorporated (1985-1999) [Trade Name: Williams] Model Number: 563 Common Abbreviations: BK2K, BK2, BK2000 MPU: Williams System 11B Type: Solid State Electronic (SS) [?] Production: 5,703 units (approximate) Serial Number Database: View at The Internet Pinball Serial Theme: Historical - Knights Notable Features: Flippers (3), Pop bumpers (3), Ramps (2), 3-bank drop-targets (2), Vertical Up-kicker (1), Kick-out hole (1), Split-level playfield, Horseshoe lane, Magna-save, Kickback. Hitting the three targets on the drawbridge lowers the drawbridge, providing access to the skyway ramp. Three multiball modes: "Double Knight's Challenge" (2-ball), regular multiball (3-ball), and "King's Ransom" multiball (3-ball timed wizard mode). Concept by: Steve Ritchie Design by: Steve Ritchie Art by: Doug Watson Mechanics by: Joe Joos Jr. Music by: Dan Forden, Brian Schmidt, Steve Ritchie Sound by: Dan Forden, Brian Schmidt Software by: Ed Boon Notes: Game has two different plastic artwork versions for the upper playfield: "futuristic" style" and "stone castle" style. These differing plastics appear around the lock assembly, near the "W.A.R" lanes, as the upper ramp cover, and as the "magna-save ready" sign. Reportedly, the "futuristic" artwork may be the earlier design. Steve Ritchie confirmed his voice (and not Rich Karstens) is the voice of the Black Knight in this game. Stephanie Rogers and Glo Van Vlack are the voices of the Choir of Angels. Marketing Slogans: "He Rides Again." "He's Back." Gameplay captured with a Hauppauge HD PVR. Video post work and slight audio tweaking done with Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11.
