Mercedes, though, struck dire tyre problems after a brilliant qualifying session; and at Infiniti Red Bull, too, the faces were surprisingly long. We will also be talking to Remi Taffin, the Head of Track Operations for Renault F1 about his season so far, revisions to the current V8 engine and the impact of the 2014 V6 programme on current activities.
