'The Revenant' cleans up at BAFTAS, looking good for Oscars

Bruce, the British approve of Leo's performance, too. Connyoung, he's definitely the Oscar favorite. At the British Academy Film Awards... known simply as BAFTA,... "The Revenant" won five awards including "Best Film." This is DeCaprio's first win at BAFTA. He took a moment to thank his mother on her birthday. "I didn't grow up in a life of privilege, I grew up in a very rough neighbourhood in east Los Angeles, and this woman drove me three hours a day to a different school to show me a different opportunity." In the film, DiCaprio plays a fur trapper who gets attacked by a bear and is left for dead by his companions during an expedition in the 1820s.
