The video represents a live performance using sand by Hungarian artist Ference Cakó at the 2010 EPCA Annual Meeting in Budapest. If you watch it closely, you will see that it is a testimony of the some of the building blocks of which our film "Chemistry : All About You" is made (namely drinkable water, food and energy and environmental friendly housing).
Background : the live performance took place at the opening event of the Annual Meeting of Sunday 3 October 2010 in the Hungarian National Gallery. Various artists gave life performances. One of them was the Hungarian graphic artist Ferenc Cakó, nicknamed the "Sandman". He drew "life" with and in sand a series of scenes that he created especially for EPCA, aligned with its 44th Annual Meeting theme, that were projected on a giant screen and that showed how the Chemical Industry gives the world's population access to drinkable water, food as well as energy and emission friendly buildings. This performance has been filmed.
