The SmartLake Project (Sigfox Universities Challenge 2019)

After the hot and dry summer of 2018 and the associated high fish mortality, the idea arose to develop a monitoring system. Measuring stations, which are set up along the waters, cyclically record the decisive water parameters and transmit them to central control stations for further evaluation.
Individual measuring intervals can be selected (e.g. every 10 minutes, every 12 hours, once a day) and if the freely defined limit values are exceeded, corresponding alarm messages are sent to those responsible. This makes it possible to react quickly before life-threatening situations occur.
This project is a contribution to the Sigfox Universities Challenge 2019.
