The Turning Point - Burak Deran

"THE TURNING POINT" - Burak DERAN (music and all instruments) BURAK DERAN: A member of a musician family. Burak Deran was born in1972, in Istanbul as an only child of Erol and Sevim Deran. He was introduced to classical Turkish music as a child. He learnt his craft not only within the bosom of his own family but also at the Turkish Music State Conservatory of Istanbul Technical University ( ITU TMDK ) where he started his violoncello lessons and graduated in 1996. He played violoncello in classical music concerts with the school orchestra. Burak met the electric guitar in his late years at the conservatory and he decided to play electric guitar. He has been playing in various rock and metal bands since 1989 as a guitarist. Apart from being a performer and giving concerts, Burak Deran composes and arranges many pieces for guitar and songs.
