Thea Musgrave: Concerto for Viola & Orchestra (1973)

The Scottish composer, Thea Musgrave (1928- ) has written a wide variety of compositions, including orchestral, chamber and particularly opera. She's lived in the United States since the 1970s and is married to the violist Peter Mark. A number of her orchestral works have been commercially recorded and are available on the Lyrita and NMC labels.
