Thief II: The Metal Age -13- Blackmail [1/2]

Now that Garrett has a hold of the recording Karras planned to use to keep sheriff Truart in tight leash, he should be able to persuade the good sheriff into telling him who exactly wanted Garrett dead so badly that he wouldn't even get a chance to become one of Karras' masked servants. Time to break into the sheriff's home for a little late night chat. Hmm... if the sheriff spills the beans, as he probably will or he'd risk an public humiliation and execution, this means the story can end once Garrett has had his revenge in the next mission. Doesn't it? This downward spiral of Garrett's bad luck has to end some day.
