Thomas James White - A Whisper

Thomas James White is an award winning media composer based in Cardiff, UK. He began his musical education at an early age as a chorister at Gloucester Cathedral, where he developed a solid foundation in classical training as well as an appreciation for traditional choral music. This interest in music continued to grow throughout his school years until he discovered music production and the capabilities of DAWs in sixth form, after which he went on to achieve a First Class Honours degree in Music Technology at USW. ​His love of cinema was the catalyst for his interest in media composition. From an early age he was fascinated by composers such as Thomas Newman, James Newton Howard and Alan Silvestri, how transformative their music could be and the wide spectrum of emotions it could evoke. Today his main focus is on building a diverse portfolio and composing music suitable for a variety of media.
