Tony Butler - BBC Plays - Writing for Radio

This video describes two of my radio plays that were produced by the BBC in London during the 1980s and 1990s. The first one I am discussing is 'Mary and the Birthday' is the story of a young woman who commemorates the birthday of her unborn child that was terminated by abortion when she was a teenager. The second play is 'Remember Happiness' which describes the death of a boy on a motor bike and the emotional upheaval in the relationship between his parents. This play was directed by Marilyn Imrie and broadcast on bbc radio 4 on 29 November 1990 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marilyn_Imrie).
