Video documents strange animals from nature displaying unique traits that allow them to adapt to their environment. Three different creatures are shown: A lizard with full tail, a weird mouse (rat) without eyes, and a snail clam. For the lizard, the tail is lightly touched to remove it and it is then timed to see how long it wiggles. By dropping the wiggling tail and attracting attention, the lizard has time to escape its predator. The rat without eyes is able to consume a bug (grasshopper or cockroach) using smell and touch, even through both are of similar size. The amazing snail clam has extreme suction abilities (the epiphragm) and it takes extreme strength to remove from the metal container (especially the second one).
