This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Nintendo 64. The legendary console had some of the best games ever, but it also had its fair share of awful ones. Have a look at our top 5 worst Nintendo 64 games of all time! 5. Mega Man 64 Mega Man 64 is a bad port of the Playstation game Mega Man Legends. While Mario and Zelda made successful leaps into 3D, Mega Man clearly didn't as you can see in this crappy game. Mega Man 64 had wonky controls, poorly designed enemies and boring environments. The voice of the loveable boy robot was extremely annoying too. The whole thing is an absolute disgrace to the entire Mega Man franchise. 4. Daikatana Daikatana is a textbook case of a game not living up to its hype. Touted as the next game from John Romero who is the co-creator of Doom, the expectations were sky high. When it finally came out it was a huge disappointment. The Nintendo 64 version is one of the worst versions of the game as well. The graphics were ugly, the AI was horrific and the level design was just plain bad. This game is an insult to first person shooters worldwide. 3. Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue is the outcome when a company just wants to make money off of a popular television series. It’s painfully obvious that this licensed game was nothing more than a quick cash grab since it’s only one hour long. That hour of gameplay isn’t even fun thanks to incredibly bland level design, bad controls and terrible music. Even the biggest Power Rangers fan had to admit that this thing had absolutely no right to exist. 2. Carmageddon 64 Carmageddon on the PC caused a lot of controversy when it came out because it was so brutal. The Nintendo 64 version caused controversy for a different reason as it was barely even playable. The framerate of this racing game is abysmal, the controls are an absolute nightmare and the developers replaced humans with zombies. By censoring the hell out of this Nintendo 64 port it completely lost the shock factor and basically became a dull ugly excuse for a racing game. Superman 64 You guys probably saw this one coming from a mile away. Superman 64 is one of the worst games ever made and definitely the worst game on the Nintendo 64. It's like the developer had a couple of weeks to finish the game and only managed to finish the training stage. The whole game is all about Superman flying through a series of rings against a timer.
