Tosca Variation

Italian actors, a german singer and two musicians appear in a chamber version of this classic piece of opera, which allows to concentrate especially on the psycological aspects of the characters. Two musicians, a pianist and a guitar player condense Puccinis orchestral arrangement, the opera now variates between an antique drama and boulevard, the sound between rock music and a movie soundtrack. The small setup allows a maximum closeness to the audience and lets appear Tosca in new, not yet known coulour.
