My to ride in a (now) ~1250hp 2009 Bugatti Veyron "GT", first in Arizona, around the Bondurant Road Course. And then for a 0-60mph run on the skidpad. Just listen to those $36,000 tires scream.. This was all at Cars and Coffee Phoenix at Bondurant HPD.
Special thanks to: Bob Bondurant for letting us use his track and to Robert S. for taking me on hell of a ride in a now, $3M car.
Side notes: the reason it's so shaky, I left the stabilizer off, to show the full experience.. And, that black thing at the end is a strap-end..
Seeing this car was a truly amazing experience, just the way it was sitting on its own, at like an inch of the ground. The car is actually very quiet, for what you'd expect from a multi-million dollar car that goes 254mph. It is an experience like no-other, the only time it was super-ceded, was the time I was able to see an actual McLaren F1 "LM" at another car show, which means, I've been able to see the two current ultimate cars in person. But, getting to ride in the Bugatti was so much more amazing and spectacular, than seeing it behind a rope. I realized I am so very fortunate, but would hope that you can also someday see this work of art.
