TRANSPORT DEPT FAILS TO FINALISE ‘DIGITAL METER’ SUPPLIER FOR TOURIST TAXIS _Prudent Media Goa

Transport Department has informed High Court that no supplier company 'to supply digital meter to be installed in tourist taxis' has been finalised yet. As no company participating in tender, manufactures digital meters equipped with GPS and panic button. Transport Department also contended before the High Court that tentatively it will take one and half months more to test sample digital meter, GPS and panic button units and to finalise one.
