TWIA: Kerry Susan Drake

My name is Kerry Susan Drake, and I have been writing since the age of 16 poetry, plays, short stories and novels. I studied at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology Journalism and then transferred to Deakin University where I finished my degree. I have also studied professional writing and editing, public relations and business management skills. I am also a qualified teacher of speech and drama with Trinity College London. I run a community theatre in bayside Melbourne The Leading Dramatic Society Theatre; we do poets festivals, street festivals, recitals, musicals and plays at the Kingston Arts centre. I am a christian and family portrait artist. I enjoy my spiritual focus on the arts. I enjoy writing and am about to publish my next book "All Things are Possible". I have three adult children and did not enter back into the workforce until 16 years of being a fultime mother and housewife. My career is about expression. I write about nature, love, adventure and human empathy. My work is continuous and I have a very eclectic approach to writing.
