This is a slide show that shows some (not quite all) of what I did to repair rot on the bottom of a wooden window. Usually I shoot video, but with the risk of Bondo getting all over things, I just took a few pictures instead.
No carpentry skills required. I just gouged-out the rotten wood (not shown) with a oscillating tool, filled the majority of the gap with solid foam chunks, then smeared Bondo on the top. It's not perfect, but it was done in just a couple of hours. In reality, I didn't finish in a single day, but invested just a few hours in the entire project.
