Even after Joyce's boyfriend Roman dies in a freak accident, he continues to haunt her through her cellphone. When he was still alive, nobody liked him. Now that he's gone, he makes it clear he doesn't like Joyce's friends either; they start turning up dead. Joyce runs to Alex for help, with whom she tries to solve the mystery of how Roman is able to sow terror from beyond the grave.
