Ukraine: Former soldiers set up movement to counter police corruption in Kiev

Former soldiers of Ukraine's special operations regiment 'Peacemaker' announced the establishment of a "movement aimed at cleaning up police corruption and criminality" during a press conference in Kiev, Thursday. "We, volunteer fighters from different units, establish a movement aimed at cleaning up police corruption and criminality. We ask all citizens to share information and we will provide information on our own about police officers in the system, who continue to commit crimes," former 'Peacemaker' fighter Oleksandr Voitko told journalists. During the meeting, we are planning to develop a detailed strategy aimed at re-starting police reform, which has been in a deadlock."
