UNI's Quarterback Throws Fans for Loop in Sawyer Kollmorgen Interview

Sawyer Kollmorgen doubted many people had heard of him. UNI Athletics and the Panther quarterback took to the streets of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and the UNI campus to gauge interest in the football team and knowledge about its leaders. Kollmorgen is second in the nation among active FCS career leaders in passing efficiency. He is the Missouri Valley Football Conference's top-ranked QB for the season in passing efficiency. In 2012, Kollmorgen came in second place in the voting for the 2012 Jerry Rice Award. He was named the MVFC Newcomer and Freshman of the Year and the College Sports Performance Awards FCS Co-Freshman of the Year. Kollmorgen was selected to the College Sports All-Freshman team and named The Sports Network FCS National Co-Freshman of the Week after the Wisconsin game.
