In this video from the June 2019 Discerning Dick Presents: Spiritual Intimacy and Yogic Sexuality with John Wineland at the Assemblage NoMad in NY, John addresses a question he receives from women often: how do I unwind my habitual armoring up against the fear of being neglected, abused, etc.
Women have not been treated well for hundreds of thousands of years, so of course, the majority of women carry mistrust in their bodies. This is why John teaches so much about leading from the masculine in a way that can be trusted. Women are not just acting from what's gone on in their own lives, but also from the generations of collective abuse they're carrying in their bodies.
The feminine responsibility is to reveal the truth of your heart in any moment; and the yoga is to do this while softening open your shoulders, belly, heart, throat, eyes, etc., and to fall back in your body as an invitation while revealing, "I'm afraid," for example. You get into a "pose" of openness and then hold it - like holding any yoga asana. Then that evokes more consciousness in the masculine, and he'll be drawn toward you. If you add pleasure or yearning to this pose, he'll find this quite attractive, and even sexy. Pleasure and yearning added to any truth revealed through your open heart makes it very easy for your masculine partner to metabolize.
What John is not referring to is projecting, complaining or giving a long-winded explanation - that's another story. There is actually a yoga to revealing the truth of your heart through your body in a way that you partner can metabolize. If you were not trained to reveal your heart when you were young, you won't necessarily know how to do it when you're older, but this yoga, like any yoga, can be learned and practiced.
