I was just made aware that @rootjunky used this same downgrade method in one of his Samsung videos last month.
For the record - I did not steal this, and figured it out on my own, and had never seen the video.
I spoke with him in private, and he has asked that I link you guys to his video along with this one!
The procedure to downgrade GAM is a bit different between this LG phone and the Samsung phone that he used, but still please check his video out!
His video is here: https://youtu.be/KRUp09bXnDA

Update:
This is an updated method to my previous video!
This is for people who are on the August 1st, 2016 Android security patch - aka people who cannot login to their account via Google Account Manager!
First off, I'd like to give a huge shoutout to @rootjunky for all of his methods that he has already came up with, and also the files that he has provided for all of us to download from his website!
In this video, I'll show you how to bypass the Android FRP (factory reset protection) aka Google Account Lock on a device running Android 6.0.1
The device that I'm using in the video is an LG Stylo 2 Plus (LGMS550) on MetroPCS, running Android 6.0.1 (August 1st, 2016 security patch.)
This should work on most other devices as well..
This will specifically help people that have these problems when following other bypass methods:
- Can't click "Share" - it does nothing when you do
- Can't click home button in Accessibility - it tells you that the phone needs to complete setup first
- Can't open APK files downloaded in Chrome - it tells you that it's "unable to scan" the file
- Unknown Sources is completely disabled in System Settings
I had EVERY one of these issues on this phone (LG & Metro really tried to lock this one down..) but was able to overcome them!
