Urban Fishing the Blue River in Breckenridge Colorado

We went out to Breckenridge for a scientific conference and since we don't ski, we decided to fish. It is January 28th, and a summery warm....just kidding, it's cold as heck! But what a good move it was. We got out with the legend, 2019 Orvis guide of the year, Chip Swanson, with Breckenridge Outfitters, for a day of ice buildup on rods, team work, and a ton of quality fish. We even got my boss, a first-time fly fisherman, into an awesome fish. Looking forward to going back to see what it's like in spring conditions.
