U.S. 60 (Owensboro Bypass), KY, Break & Seat with MHB

Break and seat of 9” thick, mesh-reinforced, concrete pavement in preparation for an asphalt overlay on U.S. 60 (Owensboro Bypass), KY, performed by Antigo Construction using a MHB Badger Breaker® and a 50-ton proof roller in August, 2015. Yager Materials of Owensboro paved a 10” thick asphalt overlay in 3 lifts. The break and seat specification required 24” to 30” fragments visible at the surface.
