Creating a crafting table is crucial to surviving your first night in Minecraft. This video will show you how to quickly create a crafting table and storage chest so that you have a grid large enough to craft the additional items you will need to survive in Minecraft.
The inventory is where gathered materials are stored for use in crafting items. The inventory slots consist of four rows of squares at the bottom of the screen. This video will show you how to move items around in the inventory. You'll learn how to pick up half of a group of objects at the same time. You will discover how to use this same technique to split groups of objects into smaller amounts, or separate a group of items into individual components for easier crafting. Other techniques covered in the video include moving an entire stack of items from the inventory to the storage chest, using the number keys on your keyboard to move items into the hotbar of your inventory, quickly moving multiples of the same item from the inventory to the chest, and using commands to drop and distribute stacks of items. A few commands only available to players in Creative Mode are also covered in this video.
