Vaginal Examinations in Labour, for Midwives and students

My thoughts on the benefits and risks of performing vaginal examinations in labour. With discussion on informed choice and how to do an examination with full consent and communication. Sensitive midwifery skills are essential when performing such an intimate examination. Unfortunately the video is cut slightly short. It ends with me saying that if a woman asks you to stop whilst you are performing a VE you must stop immediately.
