Vanuatu Amputee Association gets people walking! Sept 28, 2016

In the past few months MEND helped the Vanuatu Amputee Association ( VAA) set up a prosthetics and orthotics unit in Vila to start mobilising some of the estimated 5000 amputees there... caused mainly by rampant diabetes. This short film talks about diabetes and a small girl Meriam who now can walk well. We hope lots more amputees get help as the centre reaches out over the many islands in that Pacific country.
