Welcome to BUET CE SOLVED || ETABS 2016 || Structural Analysis and Design || Bangla Special thanks to Engr. Zihan Mahmood Nahian, Lecturer (as per February, 2020), Department of CEE, Islamic University of Technology (IUT). This video is all about ETABS 2016 Tutorial in Bangla on how to design and analyze any structure using ETABS 2016. In particular, this video illustrates (part-1 of seismic load, BNBC 1993) the procedure of design a multi-storied building in ETABS 2016. This is actually a 4 storied building having shallow foundation below Ground Level. It has a roof as well. All story heights have been selected as 10 feet. This model was prepared in accordance with BNBC (Bangladesh National Building Code) 1993 guidelines. In this episode, procedure for developing a building model and assigning vertical loads on beams and slabs. These vertical loads include dead loads such as: floor finish, partition wall, exterior wall etc. and also live load. Self weights of the structures are already included within dead load with self load multiplier of 1. The procedure is done using similar story and single story options as per requirements. Load pattern varies from floor to floor, therefore changes have been made while assigning loads in different stories. Next part (part-2) of this tutorial demonstrates assignment of Earthquake Load on the structure. This is very basic concept of Civil Engineering especially in Structural Engineering. Hopefully, viewers will enjoy this video. This multi-storied 3D building is modeled and finally run within this tutorial with multiple episodes.
