Veterinary Bronchoscopy#452, Laryngeal Paralysis Standard Poodle 11y

A 11-year-old, 30.0 kg, male Standard Poodle was admitted for a 2-month history of high-pitched abnormal breath sound on exertion. Fluoroscopy revealed dynamic cervical tracheal collapse. Laryngo-tracheobronchoscopy via LMA revealed that both of the arytenoid cartilages did not abduct. Paradoxical movement was also observed. The dog was diagnosed with laryngeal paralysis.
