Victoria's Riflebird - Bird of Paradise

A male Victoria's Riflebird (Ptiloris victoriae) displaying at Crater Lakes Rainforest Cottages - near the Bali cottage. The male bird is trying to attract a nearby female to him. Halfway through you may hear the screen door open as I come out to adjust the camera. The bird at that time has twisted his head nearly upside down, opening its mouth wide, showing the bright yellow interior to the female. He was unsuccessful at enticing the female down at this time.
