Views of the U.S. Elections from the Western Hemisphere

A day after the 2012 U.S. presidential elections, celebrated on Tuesday November 6, Council of Americas hosted in Washington a roundtable discussion on how the countries of the Western Hemisphere viewed the results of the U.S. elections. Internationally regarded journalists discussed how the region will be affected with the new presidential term, the policies toward the region, the new relationships/partnerships to be built, and steps moving forward.
