The transport of 16 October 1944 included the Czech composer Viktor Ullmann. He was murdered on 18 October. Ullmann had come from Terezin concentration camp. Whilst there had written 'The Emperor of Atlantis'. The SS stopped rehearsals of the opera and he never saw it performed.
