That sexual encounter was crazy. I can't believe the audacity that couple had with parking right in town and having sex. They couldn't drive to either ones home? Were they both married? I didn't mind they were having sex. i was grateful that they were so into each other that they weren't going to bother me so much. I didn't have to worry about them harassing me for anything.
Hopefully they used protection, and once again, i'm thankful they didn't throw the condom on the ground if one was used. Some people have no consideration for others. I have seen freshly used condoms on the ground and old ones. I can determine whether someone recently had sex in an area or if it was a long time, simply by looking at the condom on the ground. Also, I can tell if they are a slob because they threw their condom on the ground.
It gets impossible to sleep at night with the bass loudness coming out of the Strip Club. I don't understand how the residents sleep through it.
Back in the 1990s the locals were always successful in keeping strip clubs outside of the city. Times have changed and now Attitude Alley is asserting itself by turning up the volume. They are the loudest bar downtown simply based on walking past them all and mostly hearing the strip club the easiest.
I believe as far back as the 1980s people were protesting pornography magazines in a book store downtown. Now, who cares? We can find whatever we want to watch on the internet. The content is a lot more graphic and in larger than anything anyone has ever seen back in the 1980s. I wonder how those protesters feel about internet porn now. You can't exactly stand in front of the internet with a protest sign.
If you look at the Old School Rice Lake Facebook Page, you will see how the city has changed in the last 100 years. It boggles the mind the how different each generations experience has been here.
I can't say this city is getting better or worse. Although I am convinced that wages have been stagnant for over 30 years and that will affect our outlook on life.
