It was made to be a radioplay for the 2006 Audiotoop art project by Extrapool. It's based on the true story about the NASA 1977 Voyager golden record. The video was made to it later. Most sounds and all images are fictional(!) and not taken from the real record. Again, this video has no educational value! It's intended to inspire people and maybe to show how fast technology and media has changed. (compare the quality of this 2006 youtube video, with the slick animations created today) Nasa did not loose contact!! The voyager satellite is still working. August 2012 it left our solar system!
