http://www.sixpacksmackdown.com I recently added a couple samples to my bodybuilding.com order. They were a pre and post workout supplement from VPX. This review is for the pre-workout supplement N.O. Shotgun. Highlights of Shotgun: Protein Hydrolysate Matrix: 17 grams of protein BCAA-ethyl-ester Matrix- 6.21 grams Muscle Volumizing Matrix: creatines, arginine malate, citrulline malate Power, Speed, Strength and Endurance Matrix: Beat Alanine, beta alanine ethyl ester Redline Energy and Meltdown Fat Burning Technology: L-Tyrosine, Caffeine VPX N.O. Shotgun is a little different than the pre workout supplements I am used to. It contains 18 grams of protein. I typically consume my protein drink post workout, but I am fascinated and am starting to like the idea of taking protein pre workout- to fuel me through my workout. It is a rather interesting concept. When stacked with their product N.O. SyntheSize for post-workout, which contains an additional 17 grams of protein (which is what I did) you get a total of 35 grams of protein, which should be sufficient. The flavor and the mixability of Shotgun were pretty good (even considering I am not usually a watermelon fan). I had Watermelon flavor and it was easily drinkable and didn't taste too bad.. It also mixed up very well. It was free of clumps, however it did get a little foamy. I like the idea behind the N.O. Shotgun, and I like the ingredients it contains. I would be interested in trying it a few more times, and potentially this supplement could become "Full Tub Worthy."
