Nowadays manufacturers are striving to appeal to urban consumers with their pick-up trucks, who want a vehicle that's big and butch - but not necessarily for heavy-duty applications. So we planned an Urban Bakkie Shootout with four fighters: the Nissan Navara, Volkswagen Amarok, Isuzu KB-Series and Foton Tunland. The tests were practical and ranged from parking in tight spots whilst eating spicy wings, to assessing how car-like the interiors are.
